Brian McGinn
Certified Landscape Designer
I believe having a garden affords us great opportunities for moments of joy, calm, and especially, wonder. –Brian
An artist to his core, Brian brings visual and experiential beauty to his landscape design work. An avid gardener, he has an extraordinary private garden combining plants and hardscape, like an artist uses vision, color, and brush strokes, to create a beautiful landscape.
Armed with his BFA and an early career as a graphic designer and project manager, Brian followed his gardening passion to train as a Landscape Designer at the former Landscape Institute at Harvard University. Gaining hands-on experience as a professional fine gardener and then as the Crew Leader for Christie Dustman & Company, Brian’s depth of practical experience informs his design work. He knows plants!
When partnering with clients on their garden projects, Brian explores hardscape and paving options that are visually dynamic yet practical, and knitted together with the planting plan. Brian’s goal for each project is to create a space that is inviting, functional, and completely unique to each client.
