A gardener needs to know his tools–the plants and how they grow–to create a layered work of art. -Kelvin
Kelvin came to Christie Dustman & Company in 2019 where he found his passion for garden design and plants of all kinds. Full of spunk and enthusiasm, Kelvin often will play a game with the crew to identify trees, shrubs, and flowers that they see or are planting. He’ll tell you it’s a great way to learn. “I try to soak up as much knowledge as possible so that I can teach future workers and further learn the art of garden design”.
A former swimmer, Kelvin is our tall guy who can reach things up high, and his years of physical training make him very coordinated with tools. Kelvin enjoys pruning and says, “It doesn’t feel like labor when I’m pruning; it’s more like a relief and stress eliminator. I’m always challenging myself when it comes to pruning. I test myself on not only appearance but the time it takes to finish and how precise the cuts are for my own satisfaction.”
When not at work, Kelvin loves to play Xbox and watch sports.
